WC CHALLENGE: #20/25

20/25:

I've just about recovered from England's win against Colombia on penatlies. That's right ... we won a penatly shoot-out at a World Cup Finals! That game was a 2-hour emotional rollercoaster!

This Umbro home kit was worn between March 2009 to August 2010, and featured in the 2010 World Cup Finals in South Africa. It was worn twice in the group stages against USA and Algeria. The most memorable moment of the cup is probably Rob Green's howler against USA when he fumbled Dempsey’s shot, that ended up being the equalizer.

I’m wearing #11, as worn by Steven Gerrard in the run up to the finals. He actually wore #4 during the tournament finals, as Joe Cole wore #11. Gerrard made a total of 114 appearances for England, scoring 16 goals, and captaining the team 38 times.

Today's schedule - Quarter-finals:
Uruguay v France
Brazil v Belgium

The quarter-finals begin today, with what's definitley the stronger side of the draw. Either way you look at it there's going to be two big guns leaving the cup today. My money is on France and Belgium going through to the semi-finals. I'm sure most would expect Brazil to go through, but they haven't been that impressive in this tournament ... yet!
