WC CHALLENGE: #11/25

11/25:

This Umbro away kit was worn between September 2011 to October 2012, and featured in the 2012 European Championship Finals in Poland & Ukraine. It was the first dark blue England shirt since 1959, but was only worn once during the tournament, against Sweden in the group stage. England won 3-2, with Danny Welbeck scoring the deciding goal in the 78th minute. England went on to top the table, but got knocked out by Italy in the quarter-finals on penalties (classic), 4-2.

I’m wearing #8. Lampard never actually wore this number when playing in this shirt, as it was worn by Gareth Barry, Scott Parker, Jordan Henderson and Michael Carrick. He wore #15 on this shirt in a Euro premiliminary against Montenegro.
During his England career, Lampard made a total of 106 appearances for England, scoring 29 goals (30, if you include the disallowed one against Germany!), and captained the team 8 times.

Today's schedule:
Group G: England v Panama
Group H: Japan v Senegal
Group H: Poland v Colombia

England's 2nd game of the tournament, and with how easy Belgium made it look yesterday against Tunisia, we have to get a result out of this game against Panama.
