This Nike home kit was worn between May 2014 to November 2015, and featured in a total of 17 games, including the preliminaries for the 2016 Euros in France, but most notably for the 2014 World Cup Finals in Brazil. It was the worst outing by England since not qualifying for the USA ’94 World Cup Finals. England didn’t progress into the knock out stages, finishing bottom of the table, losing to Italy and Uruguay, and drawing with Costa Rica.

I’m wearing #20 with Lallana on the back, as he wore in the 2014 World Cup Finals. So far Lallana has made a total of 34 appearances for England, scoring 3 goals, but failed to make it into the 2018 World Cup Finals squad, being put on the standby list in case any of the team got injured in the run up to the cup.

I was lucky enough to produce an event for the teams charity, Lions and Roses the day before the team flew out to the finals in 2014, meeting most of the squad.

Today's schedule:
Group F: South Korea v Germany
Group F: Mexico v Sweden
Group E: Serbia v Brazil
Group E: Switzerland v Costa Rica

3 of the 4 teams in both group E and F could still progress through to the next stage, and with the group matches happening at the same time it's going to be a frantic day! As we've seen over th last 2 days, there's been goals in the final minutes of games that have completely changed the tables.
